Petikan wiki - link : The 1953 British Mount Everest expedition  was the ninth mountaineering expedition to attempt the  first ascent  of  Mount Everest , and the first confirmed to have succeeded when  Tenzing Norgay  and  Edmund Hillary  reached the summit on 29 May 1953. Led by  Colonel John Hunt , it was organized and financed by the  Joint Himalayan Committee . Watson and Francis HC Crick announce that they have determined the double-helix structure of DNA, the molecule containing human genes. 1947 Supersonic Flight

Event that changed the world 1947 - The first faster-than-sound flight. Petikan air and space - link : On October 14, 1947, the Bell X-1 Glamorous Glennis,  piloted by U.S. Air Force Captain Charles E. “Chuck” Yeager, became the first airplane to fly faster than the speed of sound (Mach 1). Hitler took Denmark and Norway during the course of a few days in April, and on May 10 he attacked France, along with Luxembourg, Belgium, and The Netherlands. The Salt March was a major non-violent protest action in India led by Mohandas K Gandhi in March-April 1930.  It was directed against the British government's tax on salt, which greatly affected the poorest Indians.
