Kita sambung sedikit tentang polyglot. Bagi memboleh digelar sebagai polyglot seseorang perlu menguasai sekurangnya empat bahasa. Suatu yang mungkin sukar bagi sesetengah kita. Namun ramai yang boleh masuk dalam kelompok polyglot mengetahui empat bahasa mahu pun lebih. Dalam ramai kalangan polyglot siapakah yang terpaling ployglot dan berapa banyak bahasakah yang mereka kuasai? Kalau kita buat pencarian (atau google) akan tersenarai ramai mereka yang terpaling polyglot.  Antaranya adalah Emil Krebs (1867-1930) yang digelar sebagai King of the hyperpolyglots. Beliau dikatakan boleh bertutur dan menulis dalam enam puluh lapan bahasa.   Bagi yang suka merujuk senarai guiness world records tercatat di sana nama Ziad Faza sebagai terpaling polyglot. Ziad menguasai lima puluh lapan bahasa termasuk bahasa Melayu. Ziad berketurunan Arab Lebanon lahir di Liberia pada 1954. Kini menetap di Brazil. Polyglot adalah mereka yang punyai kebolehan dan kemampuan menguasai berbagai bahasa. Banyak manakah bahasa yang perlu kita kuasai untuk menjadi polyglot? Petikan what is a polyglot?
