Mc in Court


… What’s in a name? One may asks. Well to many of us it’s nothing much. But careful though if it contains one magic word … Mc. That was what happened to a restaurant in KL. It was reported that this local restaurant serving local dishes including chicken curry etc. But the problem started when McDonalds Corporation sue them for using McCurry as their business name.






In September 2006, the fast food giant McDonalds has won a huge and noble victory against a tiny Malaysian curry house, after a five year legal battle. ...
