Sedikit mengenai Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Florence, Itali.

The Ponte Vecchio, completed in 1345, is a iconic medieval stone arch bridge in Florence spanning the Arno River. Known for its unique, narrow structure lined with jewelry and goldsmith shops.

It survived World War II destruction. It was the only bridge in Florence not destroyed by retreating German forces in 1944.

Built in 1345 by Taddeo Gaddi (or Neri di Fioravanti), this three-arch stone bridge is famous for the shops built along its span.

Originally occupied by butchers and tanners, Grand Duke Ferdinando I ordered in 1593 that only goldsmiths and jewelers could occupy the stalls to improve the smell and image of the area.
