Sedikit mengenai Tuvalu. Negara yang besar sedikit berbanding Nauru yang lebih kecil. Jalan masuk udara yang ada hanya melalui Fiji dan Kiribati ke Tuvalu Airport.
Ekonomi utamanya bergantung banyak kepada wang yang dikirim masuk oleh rakyat Tuvalu yang bekerja di luar negara. Selain bergantung kepada bantuan negara terdekat Australia dan NZ.
Sumber ekonomi Tuvalu juga dikatakan bergantung banyak kepada jualan setem di pejabat pos.

Tuvalu is situated in the southwest Pacific Ocean, to the northeast of Fiji, some five to ten degrees of latitude below the equator. The nation consists of nine islands scattered over 560 square kilometers of ocean, but the actual land area is only 26 square kilometers.
The only enterprise in Tuvalu with an internationally renowned business is the post office. Tuvalu's postage stamps, which have a strong national coloring, are prized by stamp collectors, so the business has in fact become one of the government's main sources of income.

The sale of stamps since the independence of Tuvalu in 1976 has been an important source of revenue for the country and government. However, such revenue has significantly. declined in recent years.
